About Selank
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed at the Russian Institute of Molecular Genetics, designed as a stable analog of the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin. Its sequence appends a Pro-Gly-Pro tail to the tuftsin core (TKPR) for resistance to enzymatic degradation.
Research interest centers on anxiolytic-pathway models, GABAergic and serotonergic-system interactions, and pre-clinical cognition paradigms. Selank has been the subject of multiple Russian-language publications and Western-translated reviews.
Each lot is independently verified for purity (HPLC + FTIR) and endotoxin (LAL, USP <85>) before listing.

| Identity | FTIR (USP <197A>) | Confirms peptide | Conforms |
| Appearance | Visual (USP <630>) | White powder | White powder |
| Purity | HPLC-UV 220 nm (USP <621>) | ≥ 98.0% | 99.7% |
| Potency | HPLC-UV 220 nm (USP <621>) | 90 – 110% of 10 mg | 11.1 mg (110.8%)† |
| Bacterial Endotoxin | Gel-clot (USP <85>) | < 40 EU/vial | 13.7 EU/vial · PASS |
† Measured fill exceeds the labeled potency — the active content is above the 10 mg label, not below. The lab confirmed identity and purity; the overfill is documented on the signed certificate.
