Returns Policy
This Returns Policy describes when Crescent will replace or refund an order. The short version: research-grade compounds cannot be re-stocked once they leave our possession deeming all sales final, with limited exceptions for damaged or incorrect shipments.
01All Sales Final
Due to the nature of research-grade compounds and the inability to revalidate storage conditions once a shipment has left our possession, all sales are final. Crescent does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds outside the limited exceptions described in this Policy.
02Why We Cannot Accept Returns
Specific research-grade compounds are sensitive to environmental conditions including temperature, light, humidity, and time. Once a product has left our possession — even briefly — we cannot verify that it has been stored according to specifications or that its purity and stability remain consistent with the certificate of analysis at issue.
To preserve the quality and integrity of every lot we ship, and to protect future customers from receiving compromised material, we cannot accept items for return into our inventory.
03Damaged on Arrival
If your shipment arrives damaged — visible exterior damage to the package, broken vials, leaking material, or compromised primary packaging — Crescent will replace the affected items at no cost.
Procedure
- Report damage within 48 hours of delivery;
- Send photographs of: the shipping label, the exterior of the package, the interior packaging, and the damaged items;
- Email everything to orders@crescentbioresearch.com with your order number in the subject line;
- Once damage is confirmed, we will dispatch a replacement within 1–2 business days.
Reports submitted more than 48 hours after delivery may not be eligible for free replacement.
04Wrong Item Shipped
If you receive an item different from what you ordered, contact us within seven (7) days of delivery at orders@crescentbioresearch.com. We will:
- Ship the correct item at no cost as soon as possible;
- Provide a prepaid return label for the incorrectly shipped item.
05Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before they enter our shipping queue, generally within thirty (30) minutes of placement. After this window, orders cannot be cancelled because they are already in fulfillment.
To request cancellation, contact orders@crescentbioresearch.com immediately with your order number.
06Out of Stock
If an item is unavailable after order placement, we will contact you with options:
- Wait for restock (with an estimated date);
- Substitute with a comparable product (with your written approval);
- Cancel the affected item and receive a full refund of the affected portion.
07Not Eligible for Replacement
The damaged-on-arrival exception does not apply to:
- Products that have been opened, reconstituted, or partially used;
- Products that have left their original packaging;
- Products beyond their stated stability or storage window;
- Damage caused by customer mishandling, including failure to refrigerate upon receipt;
- Reports submitted outside the time windows specified above (48 hours for damaged on arrival, 7 days for wrong item shipped).
08Refund Method
Where a refund is issued under this Policy, it will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take an additional 1–2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.
09Chargebacks
Customers who initiate a chargeback or payment dispute prior to contacting Crescent for resolution may be subject to:
- Account suspension and forfeiture of future-purchase eligibility;
- Recovery of the disputed amount through collection action if the chargeback is reversed.
In the overwhelming majority of cases, issues can be resolved directly via orders@crescentbioresearch.com.
We are responsive, reasonable, and want to make things right. Contacting us first protects both parties and avoids the friction of a bank-led dispute.
